The development of Doha city is constrained by existing Gas Distribution System pipelines owned and operated by Qatar Petroleum
Re-route a portion of multi product pipeline and hook it up with the existing pipeline without disruption of flow by hot tapping
Improve the availability of gas to the receiving stations around Doha by 36" pipelines of 84 km and 8" pipeline of 3 km, and 12" pipeline of 12 km
Microtunnelling of 5 road crossings in hard rock
Very stringent safety, quality and environmental standards
Modifications of existing 5 stations
Upgrading the existing and installation of new telecom network including design of fiber optic communication network
De-commission and abandon the existing gas and oil lines of approx 140 km and 6 stations in a safe and environment friendly manner
Project completed in December 2010
