Spread over 15 hectares of land on Pulau Seraya, the infrastructure development involved major soil improvement and the construction of tank foundations, a complex network of roads and drains, a pump station, oil separators, bund walls, a boiler house, an administration building, and a 600m off-loading jetty.
The project drew on Sembawang E&C’s combined expertise in civil, building and marine construction. The scope of work included the construction of 10,274m2 of flexible pavement and 18,447m2 rigid pavement. The parking apron constructed can accommodate three 737 jumbo aircraft.
